Michael Svagdis serves as Chief Executive Officer for Eurest, a foodservice company serving the business and industry markets, including employee cafes, on-site catering and executive dining rooms. Eurest serves the world’s most respected and successful corporations, including many of the Fortune 500.
A recognized leader in the foodservice industry, Svagdis is a twenty-five year veteran in the business dedicated to operational improvements, driving standardizations and aligning strategies with business goals. He has earned a reputation for his executive acumen, customer experience strategies, and solutions to increase effectiveness. Throughout his 13-year tenure at Compass Group and prior to CEO of Eurest, Michael has earned his way from Director of Business Development to President at Morrison Healthcare, also a division of Compass Group.
Joining the Eurest division in 2010, Svagdis developed and implemented strategic business plans leading to substantial revenue and profit growth. With his focus on strategic solutions analysis, Svagdis has also decreased accounts receivables and employee turnover, while increasing customer satisfaction scores and associate safety records. His attention to associates’ growth and development is continually shaping the internal business atmosphere.
Svagdis is married with three children and resides in New Canaan, CT.
