Vincent L. Berkeley, Jr. holds the position of Chief Diversity Officer of Compass Group, North America.
Berkeley was previously an executive with Burger King serving as Senior Vice President Diversity and Corporate Relations, and Senior Vice President Restaurant Operations in the Southeast. Prior to that he was with PepsiCo and Marriott Corporation’s Gino’s restaurant chain. He holds a bachelor of science in Human Resource Management from Friends University.
In May 2007, Berkeley was honored as the 90th Distinguished Visiting Professor to Johnson & Wales University’s College of Business, Providence Campus.
Berkeley has served as past National Chairman of the Board of the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Board of Directors of the Orange Bowl Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Zoological Society of Florida, and 100 Black men of Florida. He is a former Vice Chairman of 100 Black Men of America, Inc. He has also served on the board of the Welfare to Work Partnership. Berkeley is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, and Sigma Pi Phi fraternities.
Berkeley is married with two children and resides in Charlotte, NC.
