COMPASS GROUP RECEIVES 2 PRESTIGIOUS RECOGNITIONS: NEWSWEEK’S AMERICA’S GREATEST WORKPLACES 2024 AND DISABILITY:IN’S BEST PLACE TO WORK FOR DISABILITY INCLUSION 2024
Compass Group recently received two recognitions:
- a Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion 2024 after receiving a high-qualifying score on the Disability Equality Index®, the leading independent, third-party resource for the annual benchmarking of corporate disability inclusion policies and programs; and
- One of Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Workplaces 2024, which recognizes the greatest workplaces in the United States by their performance on a range of relevant metrics from the perspective of U.S. employees.
For the second year in a row, Compass Group USA has received a high qualifying score on the Disability Equality Index, a comprehensive benchmarking tool that helps companies build a roadmap of measurable, tangible actions to achieve disability inclusion and equality. With a score of 80, Compass Group USA was one of 542 corporations to qualify in 2024.
Each company receives a score on a scale of zero to 100, with those scoring 80 or higher earning the distinction of Best Places to Work for Disability Inclusion for the benchmark year. Five categories are measured: culture and leadership, enterprise-wide access, employment practices, community engagement, and supplier diversity.

The Disability Equality Index is a joint initiative of the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD), the nation’s largest organization increasing the political and economic power for people with disabilities, and Disability:IN, a global organization driving disability inclusion and equality in business.

In addition to the Disability:IN recognition, Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group have also named Compass Group USA one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for 2024.
This accolade recognizes the top 1,500 companies in the United States that employees say have a positive corporate culture, safe and comfortable working environment, training and career development opportunities, robust benefits, sustainability awareness, work-life balance, and proactive management of their diverse workforce.
